One of my favourite things to do abroad is try out local indulgences. Sure enough, it's real nice to get a massage or eat cake at home, but when you're abroad it just takes it to the next level. So on our most recent trip to London, in between appointments and shows, I snuck in some much needed quality time. London is known for its experimental mentality, which is one of the many reasons why I love this city so much. And because a girl never needs an excuse to get pampered, I suggest booking a quick weekend getaway asap, 'cause these 3 spots are soooo worth it!
I totally cracked up when I saw the look on my face on the picture Marcio took right before diving into these ridiculously over-the-top cones. I look like it's the best thing that ever happened to me, and basically it was. :) If you've never heard of Milk Train: they're specialized in soft serve ice cream with crazy toppings (sprinkles! marshmellows! smarties! salted caramel everything!) and - wait for it - cotton candy. Genius, right? I was so mesmerized by their appearance that I can't really remember what the cones tasted like, but they were surely one of the most Instagram-worthy desserts I ever had.

BLINK SPA & BROW BAR AT BLUEBIRD SHOP
If you're looking for a place to spoil yourself: this is it. Housed in the beautiful Bluebird concept store, the Blink Spa & Brow Bar has the very best beauty products right within reach. And with delicious treatments such as the Rose Facial (including pineapple, papaya, and organic rose water) and the Ananda face therapy (with a relaxing and rejuvenating green clay mask), it's just too good to pass up. I also really like that you can get your brows groomed and even go all the way with Kardashian-style lashes, all at the same location. So yeah, if you pay a visit to this spot, it's safe to assume you're going to walk out as an improved version of yourself.

CLARIDGE'S HIGH TEA
I'm not one to ever disrespect a country's culinary heritage, and the typical British afternoon tea is something I'm particularly fond of. :) I love that you can still enjoy this sweet tradition all over London, but to my humble opinion, Claridge's does it best. They make a delightful fuss about it, serving the treats in gorgeous jade-and-white-striped china, with 24 teas to choose from, a selection of cute finger sandwiches, pastel coloured miniature pastries, and of course freshly baked raisin and apple scones with jelly and clotted cream (insert British accent here). Yummm!
